Hello All!
New here, but have a question about what telescope to buy.
I would like to get my husband a telescope for Father's Day. I want a good, basic, back yard use, type. If there is a set up that I can get, where you purchase the basic unit, and then there are upgrades or "expansion packs" available, that would be great. That way we can get started, and add to it as time, bugget, and desire allow.
I would like to avoid paying for a lot of useless "features" but I'm not affraid to invest in things that really would add to our experiece or make things easier. Current I feel pretty overwhelmed with all of the features, lenses, and software choices; I just don't know which ones we would actually need/use?
Lastly, if anyone knows of any good telescope retailers in the Fort Worth area, that info would be appreciated.
