Hi there
I am wondering if anyone has a similar problem. I am using a 16'' meade 200Lx telescope. The telescope when it is aligning up with polaris does not align up accurately. the problem is that the error is random so i cannot just off set it to adjust for the error.
There could be two possible reason why the error is random.
1 the cradle that hold the telescope could possibly have slight movement in it.
2 the pier that hold the mount, cradle and telescope could have slight movement.
Our it could be both the problem above.
i am Just wondering is there a way for measuring for this as the movement would be so small then i can come up with a solution and hopefully get back to researching.
